we loved our stay at volcano lodge, hotel & thermal experience! the staff was super friendly and helped us with tour suggestions and even ordered lunch when language was a barrier. our room had a fantastic private balcony that offered stunning views of the rainforest. also, the reliable internet and the beautiful grounds with tropical plants made our experience even better.

I really loved my time at Volcano Lodge. The thermal pools were a highlight, especially the private hot spring pool right outside my room. It provided a peaceful escape after a long day of exploring. The gardens were stunning, and I enjoyed the wildlife sightings, including a sloth just outside the entrance. The room was clean and spacious but could use some updates. the linens seemed a bit outdated. I appreciated that the breakfast was good each morning, with a nice variety of options. The staff were friendly and very attentive, always ready to help plan activities. The only downside was the confusing entrance upon arrival, which felt a bit unwelcoming. I had a great time overall, just a few areas for improvement.

Amazing place to relax! We had a Superior Thermal Room with a private pool right outside and stunning views of Arenal Volcano. The thermal pools were fantastic, especially with the swim-up bar. Plus, breakfast had a great spread including made-to-order omelettes! Housekeeping was on point, and staff were really friendly. Highly recommend it!
